The proprietress Joanna always had a story about her pieces; this one was custom-made for a woman's wedding anniversary party at The Plaza Hotel in NYC in the 1960's. I picture a Mia Farrow-type with Frank Sinatra at Truman Capote's Black & White Ball. Layered over a boys' undershirt, extraordinary embellishment shines like a country house disco pixie.
